Downton Skatepark
Downton skatepark was designed and built by Wheelscape and opened in 2012. It can be found in Moot recreation ground and features both street and transition elements.
The skatepark starts on one side with a flat bank that leads up to a drop down with a flat bank, stair set, hubba and wall ride. Following this is a quarter pipe for a return ramp and leading off the side of this is a mini ramp.
Downton skatepark is a nice local spot that has a bit of everything. The street section has everything you would expect from a simple street course and the surfaces are super smooth making it a good place to come and practise the basics.
