Meltham Skatepark
Meltham skatepark was designed and built by Wheelscape and opened in 2013. It can be found in the recreation ground and features both street and transitions.
The skatepark starts on one side with a flat bank with a quarter pipe inset that leads up to a lower level that has a flat bank, stair set, manny pad and rail leading down. Following this is a large bowled section that has an up and down kicker with rail and hubba leading into it as well as a spine and roll over. The bowled area has a speed corner and some hips and corners to pump around as well.
Meltham skatepark is a great local park that has a nice selection of obstacles and transitions. The bowl section here is a big attraction and the surfaces are smooth with hips and corners to pump around. If you are in the area get down here and check it out.
