Hebden Bridge Skatepark
Hebden Bridge skatepark is an all concrete park that was opened in 2011 featuring a bowl and a street section and can be found on the banks of the River Calder.
The skatepark starts on one side with a clover bowl which has three parts, each at differing depths and metal coping around the edges. Along side this is a mini ramp the open side of which opens into the street section of the skatepark and is spined with another mini ramp behind it with a pump bump on the edge between the two. Leading off the other side of the bowl here is the street section which features a raised area with hipped bank leading down with a two tiered ledge, manny pad, rail and hubba. The back side of this is then propped up with a long kinked quarter pipe and there is also a manny pad with ledge on one side as well.
Hebden Bridge skatepark is a great local park and contains everything you would want from a skatepark. The layout has been well designed to make good use of the space and the surfaces are super smooth meaning that it is a great place for beginners and experienced skaters alike.

Getting there
Hebden Bridge train station: Exit the station onto Palace House Road and head west, following the road until hte bridge on your right. Here cross over the bridge and take Hebble End until the end and cross over onto the island, here is where the skatepark can be found.
New Road bus stop: Exit the bus onto New Road and head south through the park, crossing over the river onto the island. Here is where Hebden Bridge Skatepark can be found.
