East Grinstead Skatepark
East Grinstead skatepark was designed and built by Wheelscape and opened in 2012. It is an all concrete park that is primarily street focused and can be found in King Georges Field.
The skatepark starts on one side with a flat bank with a small extension that opens up onto a ledge, flat rail and rainbow rail, after which is a step down to a lower level. This features a flat bank with hubba and manny pad and also a stair set with rail and flat bank and a brick bank on the side. Following these is a bowled edge that runs all up the back side and acts as a return ramp for the run.
East Grinstead skatepark is a great local spot and has everything you would expect from a street course. There are some nice obstacles here and the surfaces are smooth, making it a perfect place for both beginners and experienced skaters alike.
