Thorpe Skatepark
Thorpe skatepark was designed and built by Wheelscape, opening in 2011. It is an all concrete back and forth street course and can be found in the Frank Muir Memorial Ground.
The skatepark has a very simple layout having a flat bank and a quarter pipe on either end. In between the two is a manny pad, ledge and a wave kicker with a rail along side it.
Thorpe skatepark is a nice local spot, especially if you are a street skater. The layout may not be the most original but the smooth surface makes up for it making it a great place for beginners.
