Valley Road Skatepark
Opened in 2012, Valley Road skatepark is a nice smooth concrete skatepark with an interesting layout and some unusual obstacles for both the street and transition sections.
The street section starts with a tall, steep bank that leads down into the main body of the street section which features a driveway adjoined to a taco, a grind rail, a bowled side and a ledge along the opposite side. The other side of this section leads up to a spine into the bowl section and along side this is another tall, steep bank.
The transition section here is very unique and features one main bowl with a half cradle and some interesting contours, but what is most interesting about this section is the double lip. On one half, raised above the coping of the first bowl is another bowled edge running around the edge of the main bowl giving a whole new dimension to the lines and tricks that can be done.
This is a very unique park with some of the usual obstacles linked together with smooth flowing contours to make this a great park to spend a whole day learning the lines and trying out something new!
