Clifton Skatepark

Clifton skatepark was completed in August 2011 by Maverick Industries and is one of the largest skateparks in Nottingham. It is a concrete park and holds a large transition section and also a multi level plaza style street section.

The main feature here is the bowl sections of which there are two. The main one is a large, uniquely shaped bowl with varying depths, and extension, small cradle, pool tiling section and coping around the entire thing. There is endless potential for lines here with so much variation and transitions and even spine transfer potential into the adjacent bowl. The second bowl is along side to the main one and is open sided and leads into the street section.

The street section features a small quarter pipe that leads onto a flat bank lined by two hubbas and with a grind rail down the centre. Following these is a small stair set leading up to a mini quarter and also a pyramid that leads into the open bowl.

This is a great park and worth the trip, you could easily spend a day here mastering the lines, but be warned that it does get busy at peak times so if you want a bit more space head down on a weekday.
