Thrapston Skatepark
Thrapston skatepark was designed and built by Wheelscape and opened in 2013. It is primarily a transitions based park and can be found in the centre of town.
The skatepark starts on one side with a rectangular, open sided bowl the corner of which is extended along to be the starting quarter pipe of the back and forth run. Following this is a hipped bank that encloses a double roll over with adjoining ledge and next to this is a roll in leading up to a spine and pump bump that finishes with a kinked quarter pipe with an extension.
Thrapson skatepark is a great local spot, especially if you skate transitions. The course has a nice flow that allows you pump around the park without having to push and the surfaces are smooth and fast which helps to maintain speed. It is a good place to come and practise the basics and also if you are after more of a challenge as well.

Getting there
Kettering train station: As it is a long distance from the station it would be recommended to get a bus or a taxi to get to Thrapston skatepark.
Library bus stop: Exit the bus onto High Street and take Chancery Lane north and Thrapston skatepark will be in Castle playing fields.
