Harrow Skatepark
Opened in July 1978, Harrow skatepark was one of the first bowl parks to be opened in the UK and dates back to the very roots of British skateboarding. It is a classic example of a 70s skatepark with long flowing lines that link every obstacle in the park nice and cleanly.
It features a 4 part clover bowl and a steep half pipe with two bowled ends and 1 foot of vert. As well these it also has an old school pool with tiles and roll in, and a slalom with a roll in and a flat bank on either side. In the middle of the slalom there is two blocks that lead into the eagle bowl, or bollocks bowl as its affectionately know by the locals.
Recently the skatepark secured funding to revitalise it and some of the money was invested in a 5 foot wooden mini ramp and 6 foot half pipe with a spine.
This is a must visit for all UK skaters (beginner or experienced) to see where it all began, it may be old but theres very few parks similar to this so get yourself down there and skate a piece of history.

Getting there
Harrow & Wealdstone train station: Exit Harrow & Wealdstone station onto Masons Avenue and head south east until the roundabout. Once here turn left onto Byron road and follow it along until you see Stuart Road on your right. Take this road and it will lead you into Byron Recreational Ground where the skatepark is situated.
Kenmore Avenue bus stop: Walk west along Forward Drive until you see the leisure centre on your right, then follow the signs.
