Scunthorpe Skatepark
Scunthorpe skatepark was designed and built by Freestyle opening in 2008. It is an all concrete back and forth style course with both street and transition elements and can be found in Manor Park.
It starts on one side with a flat bank with extension that opens up onto the run. Following this is a manny pad and ledge that lead up to an up and down kicker. This then leads up to a spine with adjoining roll over and finishes with a small quarter pipe.
Scunthorpe skatepark is a simple course but has a decent selection of obstacles and super smooth surfaces. There is something here for everyone and it is a perfect place to come and practise the basics or for a warm up session, it should definitely be checked out if you are in the area.
