Fleckney Skatepark
Fleckney skatepark was designed and built by Gravity and opened in 2009. It is an all concrete skatepark that is made up of of a large bowl with some street features and can be found in the recreation ground on the north side of town.
The skatepark is made up of a large square bowl with various hips and corners set into the edges that distort the shape. Running through the middle of the bowl is a spine the end of which is a volcano and adjacent to this is a funbox sticking out from the edge. On one side of the bowl in the platform of the bowl are two flat banks that lower down to create an entrance into the bowl that has hubbas and a rail.
Fleckney skatepark is a great local spot especially if you are a transitions skater. There are bumps and corners in all the right places to make endless lines and surfacing is smooth as anything. If you are in the area get yourself down here and check it out.

Getting there
South Wigston train station: As it is a long distance from the station it would be recommended to get a bus or a taxi to get to Fleckney skatepark.
Park Street bus stop: Exit the bus onto Leicester Road and enter the recreation ground, where Fleckney skatepark can be found.
