Llangefni Skatepark
Llangefni Skatepark has been rebuilt by Freestyle at a cost of £350,000. The old metal ramps were condemned back 2013 and it took the locals 3 years to secure the required funding to forge a head with the new build.
The new skatepark is now an all concrete affair following a street design with a unique component of a basketball court in one corner with a 3 stair leading down to it. Elsewhere in the skatepark there a rails, ledges, stairs, hips, a gap and a large curved quarter-pipe ramp at the far end.
The old skatepark, which consisted of metal ramps on a tarmac base, featured a back and forth run with a quarter pipe and flat bank either side of a funbox. It was build pre-2006.
