Hatfield Skatepark (The Link)
Hatfield’s The Link Skatepark is an all concrete bowl that can be found just off Link Drive.
It is a rectangular shaped bowl with a small curved section with an extension on one corner and another small extension on one of the other corners. In the centre of the bowl is a roll in that leads down to a tall roll over in the middle of the bowl that can be used or pumping around. On the top platform there are some flat banks, a whippy quarter pipe and a manny pad just to add some variation.
This is a nice local spot with a decent bowl and a few street elements thrown on top on the mix. The surfaces are smooth and it is a great place to come and practice the basics.
Hatfield Skatepark was designed and built by Freestyle, opening in July 2014, with its official opening ceremony in August 2014.

Getting there
Hatfield train station: Exit Hatfield station onto Great North Road and head south taking the footbridge over the train lines that exits onto Beaconsfield Road. Here turn left and follow the road until French Horn Lane and turn right onto this road. Follow the road until Old Rectory Drive on your left and take this and then take the first road on your right called Link Drive. Follow this road along until Hatfield skatepark is on your right.
Town Centre bus stop: Exit the bus onto Queensway and cross over the road and Hatfield skatepark will be in sight.
