Denmead Skatepark
Denmead Skatepark, located within King George V Recreation Ground, consist of metal-framed composite ramps on a tarmac base.
The skatepark features two spined mini ramps down one side, as well as quarter pipes, flat banks and jump boxes.
Denmead Skatepark was originally built in 2003 by playground company eibe, but was later fenced off because of noise complaints. The original skatepark was surfaced with an inappropriate material that was very loud which, coupled with the unexpected popularity of the skatepark, caused problems for local residents. In 2010 Evolution Skateparks renovated the park and changed the surface material.
