The Factory Skatepark

The Factory skatepark is a large indoor park that is set in a 16,500 sq. ft warehouse on the outskirts of Dundee. It was recently renovated and is now constructed of bespoke wooden ramps and features both street and transition elements.

The skatepark is set out in three main runs, the first being a street run. It starts on the back side with a raised level that transitions down the level with a flat bank, hubba and rail. Following on from this is an up and down kicker with adjoining hubba and manny pad adjacent to a rail. The run then finishes with a flat bank and hubba. Next to this is the rhythm section that starts with a quarter pipe and features a series of jump boxes and roll overs that finishes with a half pipe with an extension. The third section is made up of an open sided kidney bowl with some nice hips and corners that is back to back with a two spined half pipes with a small roll over between them as well.

The Factory is a great indoor skatepark that has a bit of something for everyone, whether you ride street or transitions. There is a decent selection of obstacles here and the all wood surfaces are smooth and grippy, making it a great place for beginners or experienced skaters.
