Baiter Skatepark (Poole)
Baiter skatepark is a large park made up of metal ramps on a tamac base. It features all of the usual obstacles and they are arranged in a fairly original layout that makes up of the available space well.
Running down the middle of the course is two back to back mini ramps forming a spine where they join and running off the back of the second mini ramp is also a large flat bank. Either side of the mini ramps are two back and forth street courses, one made up of a quarter pipe and a flat bank facing each other with a funbox and spine in the middle. The other is comprised of a quarter pipe facing a wall of quarter pipes and a flat bank. In between the two is a driveway with hubba and a jump box.
Baiter skatepark is a good local skatepark with a wide range of obstacles for all types of rider of all ability. It is a good place for beginners to come and practise the basics and also for more experienced skaters who want something a bit more challenging.

Getting there
Poole train station: Exit the station onto Serpentine Lane and head west until the roundabout. Here cross over onto Kingland Road and continue on until the next roundabout where you cross over and continue along the same road. At the end of the road turn right onto Park Lake Road and cross under the train bridge and the skatepark will be on your left.
Waldren Close bus stop: Exit the bus onto Newfoundland Drive and head east until Baiter Park where the Skatepark can be found.
