Honiton Skatepark
Honiton skatepark was designed by Maverick Industries and opened in 2014. it is an all concrete skatepark that replaced the old wooden ramps that used to sit on the site. It is a fairly small course with a transitions focus however it is very creatively arranged and is a good example of what can be achieved in a small amount of space.
On one side there is a bowled area with two open sides at either end. The edges are high and there is also an extension on one part, the open part on one side is bowled out as well as it opens into the main body of the park. The other section of the park features two shallow mini ramps back to back to form a spine and next to this is a driveway with a hubba. The back side of the skatepark then features a mellow flat bank with a vert wall for wall rides.
This is a great park and there is a lot to skate here even though it is quite small. The creative layout out of the obstacles means that there are some long flowing lines that you can pump around all day. It is definitely a park to visit if you are in the area no matter what your ability.

Getting there
Honiton train station: Exit Honiton station onto New Street and head north continuing onwards as the road turns into Northcote Lane and then School Lane. Honiton skatepark will be on your left.
Lace Walk bus stop: Exit the bus onto High Street and take the road named Northcote Lane north and continue onwards as the road turns into School Lane. The skatepark will be on your left.
