South Park Skatepark (Darlington)
Darlington skatepark can be found in South Park and is a medium sized all concrete park with both street and transition elements.
On one side of the park is a kidney skaped bowl with a vert extension in one of the corners, the back side of which is back to back with a long quarter pipe that opens up into the main body of the skatepark. Following on from this is a funbox with a hubba and ledge adjacent to a rail, and the return ramps here are made up of two quarter pipes with a flat bank inset.
This is a good local park with all of the basic obstacles you would expect however the layout is not the most original. It would be a good place for a warm up session or to learn the basics but if you are after a more challenging skate check out one of the other park nearby.
