Rozzy Plaza Skatepark (Hartlepool)
Rossmere skatepark was designed and built by Wheelscape and opened in 2011. It is a large all concrete park with a mixture of street and transition elements and can be found in Rossmere Park, Hartlepool. The skatepark is split into two main sections, a small street course and a much larger rhythm style transitions run.
The transitions section starts on one side with a bowled edge with a large vert extension running along the length of it. The end of which is hipped with a flat bank leading down from the top platform and following on from this is a jump box adjoined to a roll over. Next up after these is a double roll over next to a kinked quarter pipe that is spined with a small bowl section with an open side.
On the upper platform of the bowl is where the street section can be found and it is made up of two levels, the upper being surrounded with a curved flat bank with pole jam and a flat bank leading down to the lower level with a stair set inset and hubba. On the lower level is a manny pad and a hipped flat bank leading down to the rhythm section.
Rossmere skatepark is a fantastic local spot and contains everything you would want froma skatepark. The street section is slightly cramped but the transitions section is long and flowing giving you endless lines that you wont have to push along. This is a must visit if you are in the area.

Getting there
Seaton Carew train station: Exit the station onto Station Lane and head west continuing onwards as it turns into Seaton lane and crossing over the roundabout. At Stockton Road cross over onto Braemar Road and head north until Rossmere Park, here is where Rossmere skatepark can be found.
Ardrossan Road bus stop: Exit the bus onto Rossmere Way and the skatepark should be in sight.
