Barnard Castle Skatepark
Barnard Castle skatepark was designed by Freestyle and opened in 2010. It is a fairly basic, all concrete course with both a street and a transitions section.
The street part of the skatepark is bookended by two tacos and has a grind rail and a manny pad in between them. Adjacent to this is the bowl section which is a fairly shallow and features one long straigh wall and a curved side opposite wth three bowled sections.
This is a great local park with super smooth surfaces and a decent selection of obstacles. There is a little bit of something for everyone here although the skatepark is not the most challenging course making it a good place to come and practise the basics.
