Phoenix Park Skatepark
Phoenix Park skatepark is a large all concrete park that can be found on the outskirts of Runcorn. It is primarily a bowl oriented park with various different shapes and sizes aimed at everyone.
The first section of the skatepark is made up of a kidney shaped bowl and a key hole bowl next to each other each at differing depths to each other. Next to this, is a large open flat bottomed area in a rectangular shaped with bowled edges and is spined on one side to a mini ramp style bowl that runs up the length of the course.
This is a great local park, especially if you mainly like to skate transitions. There are a lot of corners and bump to pump around as well as a lot of transfer potential. The concrete has stood the test of time well and still remains fast and true making this a must visit if you are in the area.
